Membership

You can join The Conservative Party and become a member of the most open and democratic British Party. You will be able to attend the Party Conference and after the first three months of your membership you will be entitled to a vote in Party ballots.

Locally, you will receive regular communication from the Rushcliffe Conservative Association.

The Association runs many varied social and fundraising events including our annual Chairman’s Dinner with top political guest speaker.  We also run a 200 Club, Patron’s Club, Business Club and many other activities.

You will have the opportunity to attend meetings of the Rushcliffe's Conservative Policy Forum group which is one of the top groups in the Party and to directly influence Party policy.

You will have an opportunity to help select candidates for local Rushcliffe Borough Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and Westminster Parliamentary elections.

Why not consider becoming a Conservative Councillor yourself to help support the work we do across Rushcliffe?

You may wish to become involved in helping with political campaigning, leaflet delivery, connect calling and data entry and of course join many other members getting out and about campaigning at election times.

Any person living in the United Kingdom is eligible to join the Conservative Party.  Applicants are not required to be registered voters or UK nationals.  There is no upper or lower age limit on membership, although children under the age of 15 cannot be enrolled as full voting members.

Membership costs just £10 for anyone aged 26 or under, £25 for Armed Forces and £39 for everyone else. You can join at https://www.conservatives.com/join
